Hello Lego...

My guys play a lot with Lego. I have issues with keeping all of the sets together.  All Moms know that if you lose a piece, (or vaccuum one, perhaps), that boyhood devistation follows.  I have a friend that diligently buys dollar store bins for each set.  Oh, how I wish I were that organized.  I've got ripped open lego boxes, taped together with flaps agape.  I wonder why we have a stray piece now and then?

My favorite part of my boys playing with lego is this:  They both call the instructions "CONSTRUCTIONS".  It's the perfect word for lego instructions!  Now, I'm off to trademark the word and when Lego wants to buy it from me.....Hello, New Car!

My kids were never even patient enough to read the "constructions"! A actually contemplated buying another lego set yesterday...but I didn't. But I did get the DS game you told me about - thanks! It was a great deal. Unbelievable how expensive some of those games are!

I think anonymous said it all...just kidding.

Big Guy bought all sorts of containers for Lego sets and I laughed at him. Now we have empty containers AND legos all over the place!

OK, I must have strange kids cause they actually pick up and put away all the legos, we store them all together in big bins!

Ummm, did you post this before you had to ship your stuff back??? :) Cubby wants ALL of the Lego Star Wars sets...but it's sooooo dumb! Because he can't put them together yet so T. and I get VERY frustrated doing them while he is breathing down our neck and "supervising". Then they just sit there so he can look at them. Dumb! So, Needless to say...I haven't gotten one for him. He'll probably hit up Grandma!

We use an old plastic tool box...once they put it together the right way, they never do it again...just morphs into some crazy plane/boat/helicopter thingy! My mom is a genius and laminates the instructions somehow..pages falling out is the end of the world at our house (and stepping on one in the hall in the middle of the night...almost threw them all away!)

Constructions--that is cute. And I am with you cringing over all the pieces I've sucked up with the vacuum. Sheesh, those pieces are tiny.
